Tourism PG launches international ad showing off PG’s ‘Greatest Hits’

Tourism PG is looking to expand not only the number of people visiting the Northern Capital, but also the number of places they’re coming from.

Tourism PG launched a new commercial today (Monday) called ‘Greatest Hits’, targeting not just Canadians, but also international visitors from the United States and Germany.

“We know tourists from Europe, Asia and the US are already stopping in our community. However, from the statistics we gather in our Visitor Centre, it’s often people passing through to reach their destination,” said Tourism PG CEO Colin Carson.

“We want to not only be a soft landing for that, but we also want people to consider Prince George as their destination.”

The 60-second ad, produced by 6ix Sigma, shows off some of the highlights of Prince George.

“Our newest commercial illustrates the incredible sights and experiences in Prince George that warrant an extended stay,” Carson added.

“When people stay longer, it stimulates our local economy, and that’s what we aim for in tourism.”

Tourism PG noted this is the first time one of their initiatives is being promoted overseas since the pandemic.
