CNC offers adult upgrading grant

The College of New Caledonia is offering an adult upgrading grant to help students cover the costs of school.

The grant was introduced as the government requires students to pay for upgrading, and is geared towards people with a lower income.

“It’s not about whether or not you graduated from high school, not whether you’re a single parent, it’s all about what you earned in the previous year,” says Financial Aid Officer Kathy Howard.

The grant covers tuition, fees, books and basic supplies.

Anyone who is interested should call CNC’s Financial Aid office.
