900 students to graduate at upcoming CNC convocations

The next wave of Prince George’s post-secondary graduates will be walking the stage on Thursday (June 1).

The College of New Caledonia will have nearly 900 students graduating in two ceremonies, one in Prince George, and one in Quesnel, in the next 10 days.

The larger Prince George ceremony will be held at CN Centre on Thursday at 1:00 p.m.

The Quesnel ceremony will be held the following Thursday at 1 p.m. at the North Cariboo Campus.

“It’s always inspiring to take part in convocation and mark the growth, resilience, and achievements of graduates,” said Dr Dennis Johnson, CNC president and CEO. “Every graduate has a goal… whether it’s an exciting new career or further learning in the region or with affiliated universities. The dedication and hard work of graduates has paved the way for promising futures filled with endless possibilities.”

898 students are graduating, and of them, only 440 have registered to take part in a ceremony.

For the first time in the college’s history, CNC staff members who have family graduating will be welcomed on stage with Dr Johnson.

The Prince George ceremony will be available via live stream.
