Bellamy, an 18-year-old from Hampton, New Brunswick, spent last season as a member of the Grand Falls Rapids of the Maritimes Junior A Hockey League.

In 46 games with the Rapids, Bellamy notched seven goals and 30 assists.

“Evan has a great on-ice skillset that is complimented by his worth ethic and high compete level,” said Spruce Kings associate coach Brad Tesink.

“With a year of Junior A under his belt already, we believe he should transition to our D core quickly and contribute to our team’s success next season.”

Ouellett, a 19-year-old product of Toronto, spent last season with the Cochrane Crunch of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League.
