Traffic brought to standstill by collision

Vanderhoof traffic was halted for quite some time after two commercial trucks collided in front of Co-Op 2.5 kilometres west of Vanderhoof.

“One vehicle was trying to make a left-hand turn, the second commercial vehicle rear-ended that vehicle,” explains Cpl. Wade Harvery, “Damage to both vehicles was minor, some injuries to both drivers, who were the lone occupants of both.”

Single file traffic was moving roughly an hour after the incident, with both lanes opening up around 6:00pm.
