UNBC Timberwolves:
With three goals in two games, UNBC Timberwolves striker Michael Henman has been named the Canada West men’s soccer player of the week
Henman, the reigning Canada West player of the year, scored twice in a 3-1 victory over TRU (Friday) and added another goal in a 2-1 loss against the same Kamloops-based team (Sunday).
The (1-4-1) UNBC men’s soccer will play its next game on Sunday afternoon (1:15 PT) against the (0-3-1) Dinos in Calgary.
Meanwhile, the (0-4) UNBC women will also be on the road visiting (1-5) Manitoba on Friday (4 PM PT) and (0-4-2) Winnipeg on Saturday (5 PM PT).

Major League Baseball:
Texas Rangers 6 Toronto Blue Jays 3
The (80-65) Jays, with 17 games left, host the (80-64) Rangers again tonight (Wednesday 4:07 PT) as they continue a key 4-game series.
Toronto is tied with the (80-65) Seattle Mariners for the third and final wild-card spot in the A.L., just half a game behind Texas.

PG Cougars:
The Prince George Cougars play their final two exhibition games in Grande Cache, Alberta.
The Cougars, who are 1-1 in pre-season action, face off against the Edmonton Oil Kings on Friday night (6:00 PT) and Sunday afternoon (noon PT).

The New York Jets will play the rest of the season without QB Aaron Rodgers, who suffered a torn Achilles in the 22-16 Monday night overtime victory over the Buffalo Bills.

Week 15 begins with a pair of Friday games: (10-1) Toronto at (6-6) Montreal (4:00 PT) and (3-10) Edmonton at (6-6) Saskatchewan (6:30).
The (8-4) B.C. Lions return to action on Saturday (4 PM) when they host the (3-9) Ottawa RedBlacks.
