The preseason is done and now it is on to the games that count for the Prince George Cougars.
The Cougars beat the Edmonton Oil Kings 3-2 this afternoon (Sunday) in Grande Cache, Alberta in their final tune-up game.
Carlin Dezainde snapped a 2-2 tie by scoring a shorthanded goal with 4:42 left in the third period.
Ondrej Becher tallied the other two P.G. goals, one shorthanded and the other on the power play.

The Cougars, who lost 4-3 to Edmonton on Friday, went 2-2 in four exhibition games.
They start their regular season by playing seven of their first nine games at CN Centre beginning with a home doubleheader against the Tri-City Americans on Friday night at 7:00 and Saturday night at 6:00.
