The 5-foot-11, 179-pound Parascak leads the league in both goals (eight) and points (12).
His week included a six-point game, and he currently leads the WHL in goals and points.

The (3-1) PG Cougars have four home games in five nights, starting with a doubleheader against the (1-0-1) Kelowna Rockets.
The Cougars host the Rockets tonight (Tuesday) and Wednesday.

Former PG Cougar forward Jansen Harkins has a new NHL team.
The Pittsburgh Penguins have claimed the 26-year-old Harkins off of waivers from the Winnipeg Jets.
The Penguins have claimed forward Jansen Harkins off of waivers from the Winnipeg Jets.
Harkins is signed through the 2023.24 campaign and his contract carries an average annual value of $850,000.

The (1-1-1) Prince George Spruce Kings are off this week.
They will play their next three games on the road.
The Spruce Kings visit the (1-3) Merritt Centennials on Tuesday, October 10th, the (2-1-0-1) Penticton Vees on the 11th and the (3-1) West Kelowna Warriors on Friday the 13th.
The Spruce Kings’ next home games will be against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks on October 20th and 21st.

The (2-1-1) U18 Cariboo Cougars visit the (1-1) Thompson Blazers Saturday night at 6:45 and Sunday morning at 9:45 in Kamloops.

The (2-6) Prince George Kodiaks will complete their second season in the BC Football Conference with a pair of games on the road.
The Kodiaks visit the (6-1) Okanagan Sun Saturday afternoon at 4:00 in Kelowna and also play at the (1-7) Kamloops Broncos Saturday, October 14th (6 PM) in Kamloops.
Prince George lost its last home game 74-14 to Okanagan on Saturday (Sept. 30th) at Masich Place Stadium.

The UNBC Timberwolves have four games remaining in men’s and women’s Canada West soccer.
The (0-9-1) UNBC women visit the country’s top-ranked team the (9-1) UBC Thunderbirds Friday and Saturday night at 5:00.
They will conclude their season with home games against UBC Okanagan on Friday the 13th (5:30 PM) and vs. Thompson Okanagan on Sunday the 15th (noon).

The (89-73) Toronto Blue Jays open the playoffs this afternoon (Tuesday 1:30 PT) in Minnesota against the (87-75) Twins.
It is a best-of-3 series with all games in Minnesota.
The Jays took the third and final wildcard spot in the AL while the Twins won the Central Division.

First baseman Jared Young of Prince George went 0-for-4 in the Chicago Cubs season-ending 4-0 loss on Sunday to the Milwaukee Brewers.
The 28-year-old Young finished with a .186 batting average (with a pair of homers and eight RBIs) in 16 Major League games this year with Chicago.
NFL: (Final game in Week 4)

The Seahawks are one of eight teams with a 3-1 record while the Giants are one of eight teams at 1-3.

The B.C. Lions have just three regular-season games left.
First place will be on the line when the (11-4) Lions host the (11-4) Winnipeg Blue Bombers Friday night at 7:00.

Winnipeg will also host Edmonton on October 21st and visit Calgary on October 27th.
