Bird watchers will be flocking to Prince George, as the Northern Capital is one of 11 new destinations on the BC Bird Trail.
“This is welcome news at Tourism Prince George, said Tourism PG CEO Colin Carson.
“Being added to the BC Bird Trail gives the city more visibility as a place to visit for bird watchers, outdoor enthusiasts, and nature lovers.”
BC offers a flight path for rare and diverse bird species on the Pacific Flyway, which extends from Alaska to Patagonia.
The BC Bird Trail website lists the bird that can be found in Prince George during each of the seasons.
