WHL:
The (6-2) Prince George Cougars conclude a 5-game homestand tonight (Wednesday) at 7:00 against the (2-3-1) Swift Current Broncos.
This will be the Broncos’ first appearance at CN Centre since 2019.
The Cougars lead the WHL in points, goals scored, power play and shorthanded goals.
Prince George has seven of the top eight scorers in the WHL, including the top three.

With six points in four games, including four goals, 17-year-old Terik Parascak of the PG Cougars is the WHL Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive week.
Parascak leads the WHL in goals (12), power-play goals (T-1st, 4), and short-handed goals (T-1st, 2).

The UNBC Timberwolves have home games this weekend at Masich Place Stadium in Canada West soccer.

The (11-5) B.C. Lions have just two regular season games left.
The second-place Lions visit the (8-8) Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Friday (4 PM PT) to begin Week 19 of the CFL season and will close out at home against the Calgary Stampeders on Friday, Oct 20th (7 PM).
B.C. is two points behind the (12-4) Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
The Blue Bombers need one more win or a Lions loss to clinch first in the West Division.
Winnipeg will host Edmonton on October 21st and visit Calgary on October 27th.
