Prince George Symphony Orchestra hosting Halloween Concert

The Prince George Symphony Orchestra is opening its 2023-2024 mainstage season with a spooky show.

“We’re always excited when we can plan a concert around a holiday or a certain civic event,” said PGSO Music Director Michael Hall.

“In this case, there’s so much great music associated with Halloween.”

Their Halloween-themed Concert will feature four pieces of music.

  • Modest Mussorgsky, Night on Bald Mountain
  • Lemony Snicket and Nathaniel Stookey, The Composer is Dead
  • Matthew J. Donnelly, Grave Digger’s Waltz
  • Edvard Grieg, Peer Gynt Suite No.1

“It’s beginning of our season, we have a wonderful season coming up,” Hall continued.

The concert will be held at Vanier Hall on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
