BC Cup speed skating competition begins tomorrow in PG

The Prince George Blizzard Speed Skating Club is hosting a pair of events from Kin 1.

The Academy kicks off today (Friday) and will serve as a training, learning, and team building exercise for athletes, coaches, and officials.

The BC Cup begins Saturday through Sunday, where local skaters like Megan Vansickle, Eli Bernard, and Pareesa Jones will be racing the best in the province.

The event is considered an important prep for the Lhtako Quesnel 2024 BC Winter Games and BC Short Track Provincials in Abbotsford.

Racing is set to start at approximately 10am tomorrow (Saturday).
