The BCHL’s Road Show is making another Northern stop this season.
This season’s edition of the Road Show will take place between now and Sunday (26th) in Quesnel, featuring a pair of matchups between the Cowichan Valley Capitals and the Victoria Grizzlies.
Victoria is 13-7-0-0 in the Coastal Conference while their Island rivals, the Caps sit last with a mark of 3-14-1-0.
The Road Show is being brought to Quesnel in partnership with the Lhtako Dene Nation.
“Lhtako Dene Nation is extremely excited to bring the BCHL brand back to the community for these two games,” said Band Administrator Maynard Barra.
“We are blessed to have two of the league’s premier teams squaring off at the West Fraser Centre for all of the community to take in.”
This will be the third Road Show hosted by the BCHL, after making stops in Burns Lake last year, and in Kitimat in 2020.
“We can’t wait to bring the Road Show to the great people of Quesnel next month,” said BCHL Commissioner Steven Cocker.
“The community is already familiar with BCHL Hockey having had the Millionaires as part of the league in the past, but we are excited to show them how our league has grown since then.”
Puck drop for Saturday’s game is at 7 pm from the West Fraser Centre. The weekend will end with a Sunday matinee at noon.
The Quesnel Millionaires played in the BCHL between 1996 and 2011, before the team was sold and moved to Chilliwack.
