“I had chills” Prince George man wins $102,894.50 on Lotto 6/49 ticket

“I didn’t know what had happened.”

That’s from Jeffrey Hill on the moment he found out he won $102,894.50.

“I looked at the retailer, he looked at me and I had chills. He said I won and then I saw the number on the screen.”

During the November 1st, 2023 Lotto 6/49 draw, Hill matched five of six numbers plus the bonus to win the prize.

Hill bought his ticket and checked it at the Husky on Foreman Road.

When he checked his ticket, he snapped a photo of the numbers to send to his wife, who reacted with disbelief.

“She was at work at the time and asked if it was a joke,” he said.

He added it’s “hard to put into words” how it feels to win the lottery.
