41 recommendations issued as Burns Lake inquiry wraps up

The Resource Industry Coroner has released the findings and recommendations of the Babine Forest Products Sawmill.

41 recommendations were issued after the three-week long investigation.

Roughly 46 survivors, workers, and family members took the stand to share their stories.

Nine of the recommendations are addressed exclusively to WorkSafeBC, while several others are made jointly to WorkSafeBC and other organizations.

Each recommendation must be examined, and WorkSafeBC will provide a written letter the the coroner.
