Victoria Royals: 5 vs Prince George Cougars: 3
For the first time in 14 games, the Victoria Royals have beat the Prince George Cougars in regulation.
After a scoreless first period, the Royals scored three times in the first 73 seconds of the second period. Surprisingly, this wouldn’t be Prince George’s undoing.
Zac Funk scored his 31st and 32nd goals of the year, and Riley Heidt tied the score late.
Victoria scored twice in the third, and the Cougars were not able to push back.
Tonight’s Teddy Bear and Toque toss is the weekend’s main event, puck drops at 6:00.

Prince George Spruce Kings: 3 vs Cranbrook Bucks: 2
A last period comeback gave Spruce Kings fans the opposite experience of what Cougars fans got last night.
Trailing 2-0 after the first period, the Spruce Kings came all the way back to win in regulation with three unanswered in the third.
Owen Goodbrand scored the game winner with 92 seconds remaining in the final period.
The win pushes the Spruce Kings to 8-13-3-0, still the 8th and final team in the Interior Division.
NHL
There are 12 games in the NHL tonight, the Canucks host the Hurricanes at 7:00.
After a hot start, Vancouver has slowed to 5-5 in their last 10.
MLB
Jays fans are refreshing twitter for the 27th straight hour.

There is one game in the NBA today, the Pacers and Lakers play in the NBA In-Season Tournament finals.
If I am being totally honest, I have no idea what that means.
NFL
It is another full slate of football tomorrow, the 6-6 Seahawks will be in for a challenge against the 9-3 49ers.
Most importantly, the Superbowl LVIII champion Ravens play the Rams at 10.
