Special Weather Statement issued for Pine Pass as temperatures expected to drop

Environment Canada is warning of rain followed by dropping temperatures for tomorrow. (Friday)

Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement for the Pine Pass, saying rapidly dropping temperatures may cause wet surfaces to freeze.

They say a sharp cold front is going to move across Northern BC Friday night, ushering in cold air.

Temperatures are expected to go from a daytime high of eight degrees tomorrow, to an overnight low of minus seven.

Environment Canada is also forecasting a chance of showers for tonight and tomorrow.
