Two Rivers Gallery is debuting a new exhibit created by a retired local kindergarten teacher.
It is called ABC Animal Dreams, by Elizabeth Eakin, featuring art from her children’s book A BC Island Animal Dream.
The exhibit features watercolour paintings accompanied by poetry.
According to the Gallery, Eakin was a French Immersion Kindergarten teacher for 20 years and started painting in retirement for her grandkids, which is what inspired her book.
The exhibit will be open from tomorrow (Thursday) until March 24th.
There will be an opening reception at 7:30 tomorrow night with an introduction from Eakin.
