Prince George RCMP looking for witnesses to Hart Highway hit-and-run

The Prince George RCMP are looking to speak with witnesses to a hit-and-run on the Hart Highway.

Mounties say the collision took place on February 21st, just before 7:00 am, near Bellamy Road.

According to police, a vehicle traveling northbound crossed the centre lane and collided with a vehicle driving south bound.

The north bound vehicle did not stop after the collision.

“We are looking to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or may have dash camera or video surveillance capturing the suspect vehicle,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.

“If you have any information on this investigation, please contact an investigator by calling the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line.” (250-561-3300)

The driver in the south bound vehicle did not suffer serious injury from the collision.
