14 Rising Star Athletes to be recognized by PG Sports Hall of Fame

The Prince George Sports Hall of Fame will be recognizing several athletes in the 23-and-under category at its 13th Induction Banquet on April 6th at the Ramada Plaza Hotel.

Today (Wednesday), the group released its list of 14 Rising Star Athletes.

It includes the following:

  • Aliah Turner Biathlon
  • Emma Watson Swimming, Ringette
  • Reese Wiseman Softball
  • Lily McCullough Judo, Softball
  • Colby Winther Konig Equestrian
  • Jenna Hamel Taekwon-do
  • Lily Palmer Ringette
  • Troy Todoruk Baseball
  • Fischer O`Brien Hockey
  • Nico Myatovic Hockey
  • Chris Zimmerman Volleyball
  • Adam Sieben Track and Field
  • Rowan Teegee-Zatorski Volleyball
  • Noah Lank Football

The Prince George Sports Hall of Fame inductees this year are Amanda Asay (Baseball), Kenny Lally (Boxing), Joe Rea (Wheelchair Curling), Edna Stitt (Baseball, Softball, Hockey), Megan Tandy (Biathlon).

Details of the banquet time and ticket information will be confirmed in early March.
