One man is dead after a collision on Highway 97 earlier today.
Around 1pm today, Officials received reports of a tractor trailer unit that went off the road about 30 minutes north of Prince George.
North District Traffic Services says the driver of the truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist and the BC Coroners Service have been called to the scene.
Traffic is alternating through one open lane, and is expected to stay that way this evening.
