Zombies are taking over PG.
Zombie fest runs all day tomorrow outside Prince George City Hall.
Organizer Mindy Collis says there will be vendors, live music and more.
“There are going to be games for the children. There is a ‘zombification station’ where people can get their make-up done, get some zombie clothes and get ready for the walk.”
The 3km ‘Zombie Walk’ starts at noon. Participants need to bring a nonperishable food item for the St Vincent de Paul Society.
Costume contests, scavenger hunts and a zombie twist on a “jail and bail” fundraiser will round out the day.
“We are expecting lots of people” Collis said “People are really excited about it. The downtown businesses are very excited, we’ve had a very good response. It’s actually grown to be quite a bit bigger than we originally thought.”
She says this will be a start of an annual event.
A full schedule of the day’s events can be found here.
