The City of Prince George will be opening Masich Place Stadium to walking today. (Tuesday)
That’s according to the City’s Spring 2024 Parks and Recreation E-Newsletter.
The stadium will also be open for bookings and user groups today as well.
Conversely, the indoor walking program at the CN Centre is planned to end for the season on April 12th.
Indoor walking is available at the CN Centre from 8am to 5pm daily, except of PG Cougars home game days, special event dates, and statutory holidays.
In addition, the gates to the ball diamonds and the beach volleyball facilities at Carrie Jane Gray Park will open today.
Washrooms at Carrie Jane Gray and at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park are both under renovations.
The renovations are budgeted at $500,000, carried forward from the 2023 budget.
Both are expected to be completed by mid-April, and portapotties will be set up at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park in that washroom’s absence.
