City-wide spring cleanup being held next weekend

Prince George’s annual spring clean is coming up next week.

The city is asking residents to volunteer part of their Sunday (April 21) to pick up litter in local trails, parks, school yards, and streets.

Anyone interested is being asked to register online so all areas of the city can be accounted for. Everyone who registers can pick up gloves, bags, and other supplies from city hall on Monday (April 15) between 9:00 and 4:00.

Six large garbage bins will be placed around the city for the clean that people can use.

You can find a full map of the cleaning areas, more information, and register to help here.
