On May 14th, the Prince George RCMP’s Downtown Safety Unit and Problem Oriented Policing team conducted a joint investigation into drug trafficking inside a commercial dwelling unit on the 600-block of Dominion Street.

A Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant was executed on two units at the location.

Mounties located a combined total of approximately 125 grams of suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin inside the two units.

Over $4,900 in cash, counterfeit cigarettes, drug trafficking paraphernalia and various weapons were also seized.

“This investigation represents another significant blow to the illicit drug trade within Prince George,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.

“Police officers will continue to focus their attention on those who are responsible for bringing illicit drugs into our community.”

No arrests were made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
