Canada’s national snowboard cross teams will once again have some northern flavour to them.
Two-time Olympic bronze medalist Meryeta O’Dine is back on the squad.
She is joined by Mackenzie’s Evan Bichon who is coming off a personal best ‘Big Final’ 4th place finish at the Bataille Royale World Cup.
O’Dine is rated 22nd in the world rankings while Bichon is 19th heading into 2024-25.
Lastly, PG product Colby Graham was named to the NextGen squad.
The World Cup snowboard cross tour kicks off Dec. 13-15 in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy.
It will also include stops in Georgia, Czechia, Italy, Spain and Austria before concluding April 4-6 in Mont St., Anne, Que.
