Registration almost closed for Storm the Hill

The 4th annual Storm the Hill event is almost upon us!

This year’s competitors have the choice of taking on a 5km run, 10 km run, or a sprint duathlon with two 5km runs and a 20 km bike ride in between.

Northern Sport Centre Communications Officer Scott McWalter says popularity is growing steadily each year.

“It’s grown in popularity, enthusiasm, and registration in the past few years. The inaugural year I believe we had around 40 people, and for the past couple years, we’ve shot up over 100.”

McWalter aims to have 150 competitors out on Sunday morning to take on the hill.

Registration closes at 2pm tomorrow at the Northern Sport Centre.
