Canucks say Farewell to Prince George

Sunday the Vancouver Canucks wrapped up their training camp in Prince George.

Canucks fans swarmed the CN Centre over the weekend to watch the team prepare for the season ahead. Throughout the 3 day camp the building was packed with cheering fans.

“To practice in front of a sold out crowd and a full building, that brings the excitement up for the older guys that are maybe more used to training camps.” said Canucks Captain Henrik Sedin.

The energy in the building suited veteran players and rookies alike.

“The atmosphere was unbelievable. I had never seen it like that before.” said Canucks Prospect Jake Virtanen.

The team held their final two scrimmages of camp on Sunday morning before returning to Vancouver to prepare for their exhibition game against the San Jose Sharks on Monday.
