City hosting community volunteer appreciation event

The City of Prince George is holding an open celebration at the Canada Games Plaza to celebrate all local volunteers.

The event will include music from YXS and the Chris Goodwin Band, food, and “exclusive Mr. PG swag.”

“We the Prince George citizens want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers who make this city a vibrant and welcoming place to live. This event is a small way to show our appreciation for your tireless efforts,” said Mayor Simon Yu.

It will be held tomorrow (Wednesday) from 3:00 to 7:00.
