Late-night shooting on Victoria Street claims a life: PG RCMP

The Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit is investigating a shooting on the 1500-block of Victoria Street resulting in the death of one person.

Officers immediately attended the location at 11:45 pm last night (Wednesday) and began a search for the suspect, who remains outstanding.

Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area between 11:35 p.m. and 11:50 p.m. and may have dash camera footage, cell phone video or video surveillance from that area, to speak with a police officer.

“This appears to be a targeted attack; however, the investigation is at its preliminary stages and we continue to gather evidence. We ask that anyone who has information that may aid in this investigation, please contact an police officer by calling the Prince George RCMP non-emergency number at 250-561-3300,” stated Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.

The investigation is ongoing.
