Prince George named 13th most generous city in Canada by Go Fund Me

The generosity of PG residents has gained national attention.

Go Fund Me announced the city was named the 13th most generous community in Canada for 2024.

The fundraising website recorded over 38-hundred donors in PG this year. With a population over 76,700 this results in a per capita donor rate of 5.07%.

For the second year in a row, Victoria was named the most generous city in Canada.

PG ranked ahead of Kitchener, Ontario (14th) and Regina, Saskatchewan (15th).
