Rotating strikes hit Nechako Lakes

Day three of rotating strikes by BC public school teachers have hit the Nechako Lakes School District.

Here’s union president Thomas Thalheimer on the major sticking points in the area.

Thalheimer admits it’s discouraging little progress has been made at the bargaining table and says the government’s lockout has confused things even further.

He says Wednesday’s strike has shut down over 20 schools in the district which stretches from Vanderhoof to Burns Lake and up to Fort St. James.

Something going on in the Prince George area you think people should know about?
