PG Spruce Kings sign forward from Winnipeg

The Prince George Spruce Kings have signed on a forward for the 2025-26 season.

2008 born River Arnason from Winnipeg, Manitoba will be joining the team, having spent the last three seasons with Rink Hockey Academy Winnipeg of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League.

This season with the U-18 prep team, he’s picked up 23 goals and 24 assists for 47 points in 27 games.

The season prior, Arnason tallied 41 points for the U-17 Prep team.

“I am eager to continue my development on and off the ice with an organization committed to the success of their players, team and community.” said Arnason.

The Spruce Kings are at home tomorrow (Wednesday) to face the Surrey Eagles at Kopar Memorial Arena, with puck drop at 7:00pm.
