School District 57 will be giving the first three readings to an Amended Annual Budget Bylaw.
The amendment is in accordance with section 113 (2) of the School Act, required by the Minister of Education.
This will be discussed at Tuesday’s meeting, and comes as the School District’s budgeted surplus reached $1,195,152, far exceeding the previous surplus of $11,934 for the current school year.
The approval for the 2025-2026 budget is scheduled for May 13th.
