Northern BC RV and Outdoor Expo kicks off in Prince George

Day one of the 3rd annual Northern BC RV and Outdoor Expo has begun at Prince George’s CN Centre.

The expo, hosted by SMP RV, brings together various RVs, ATVs, hot tubs, and other outdoor activities from various partners.

While Prince George is already an outdoors community, Expo Organizer and SMP RV General Manager, JC Brown says we could see that grow this year.

“You’re going to see people explore Canada, because a lot of people are cancelling their trips to the U.S. with everything going on politically.”

“I think people are going to wanna book their RV sites, plan to go motorbiking or ATVing and that sort of thing, or maybe just hang out at home in their new hot tub.”

Brown says every hour, the expo will have information sessions for those who are new or want to learn more about the outdoors.

Those include how to winterize your RV, trail and gear safety from Prince George motorsports, and more.

The expo runs until 7:00 tonight (Friday), and from 10:00am to 7:00pm Saturday, with Sunday being 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Admission is a $2 donation, which goes to the College Heights football team.

More information can be found on SMP RV’s website here.
