Cougars hosting celebration of community’s railroaders

The Prince George Cougars are teaming up with CN for “Railroaders in our Community Weekend” on March 14 and 15.

The weekend will recognize the hard work and dedication of CN employees and their families who keep communities moving.

“At CN, it’s important for us to do our part to help communities remain great places to live, work, and play,” said CN Stakeholder Relations Tyler Banick.

“Prince George is home to hundreds of active and retired CN railroaders, and we’re excited to celebrate our long-standing partnership with the City and the community by rallying behind the Prince George Cougars at the CN Centre on March 14 and 15.”

The Saturday game will feature a tailgate party, including:

  • Rides on CN’s miniature safety train, Little Obie
  • Food trucks
  • Free coffee and hot chocolate
  • Chuck-a-Puck contest, supporting the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.

Additionally, fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations to the tailgate party during both game nights, which will go towards the Salvation Army Food Bank.
