Suspected Tire Thieves Busted

PG RCMP believe they’ve caught the people responsible for a string of tire thefts.

After executing two search warrants Thursday afternoon, police seized several stolen tires from an area in the Hart.

Police are looking the return the tires to their rightful owners, and victims of a recent tire theft can call the PG detachment at 250-561-3300.

Victims will need to describe the tires before they can be returned.

A 39-year-old man and 24-year-old woman who are well-known to police have been arrested and held in jail overnight.

They’ll appear in Provincial court at a later date to face property theft-related charges.
