An electrical short appears to be the cause of an early-morning fire.
Just before 1:00 am this morning, Prince George Fire rescue responded to a structure fire in the 2500 block of Coyle Street.
Crews found smoke coming from the home and determined there was a garage fire, with smoke seeping into the second floor of the home.
Three residents were home and escaped without injury.
The fire was quickly extinguished, limiting the damage to an estimated $10,000.
Crews were on scene for over an hour.
