GoodLife Prepares for First Week in PG

A new gym is getting ready to open it’s doors in Prince George.

Goodlife Fitness will be hosting the grand opening for their 10th BC location on Monday.

“In the Prince George location we’re going to have full cardio and strength training equipment.” said BC Manager Michael Douven. “We’re going to have over 100 sets of free-weights, there’s going to be a beautiful group cycling studio and group fitness studio.”

There will also be a virtual fitness program, which offers pre-recorded workout classes for those hitting the gym outside of peak hours.

According to Douven, the decision to open in Prince George was a simple one.

“There’s 7 hockey rinks, 18 soccer fields and it was just pretty apparent the town is very active” said Douven. “So it only made sense for us to look at a great location in this incredible city.”

The new gym will officially open its doors on Monday at 3030 Rec Place Drive across from Superstore.
