Police Search for Owner of Rare Coin Collection

PG RCMP are appealing to the public to help find the owner of a recovered coin collection.

In April, police recovered approximately 50 coins believed to be stolen.

Months of investigating has failed to identify the owner or owners of the collection of older Canadian and American coins with some international, commemorative and First Nations coins.

The coins must be described in detail to be reclaimed. Anyone with information that could reconnect the coins with their rightful owner are asked to call PG RCMP at 250-561-3300.
