High numbers yet again for Operation Red Nose

Operation Red Nose in Prince George enjoyed another solid weekend.

Spokesperson, Andrea Johnson says it was a smashing success.

“On Friday we provided 117 safe rides home while on Saturday we had 165 rides with 21 teams on the road.”

So far after eight nights over 850 safe rides home have been provided.

Right now only 23 road teams are signed up for New Year’s Eve.

Volunteers can submit an application on-line at www.ornpg.ca

RCMP looking to identify suspects in repeated vandalism investigation

The Prince George RCMP are looking to identify suspects in an investigation into repeated vandalism at a residence on the 100-block of McQueen Crescent. According to police, the initial investigation began in late May, when unidentified suspects threw a rock through the front window of the home, and spray painted the front with orange spray paint.
