A change of scenery has done Tanner Campbell a ton of good.
Campbell, who was recently acquired from West Kelowna in a trade, had his second multi-goal game as the Prince George Spruce Kings upset the Coquitlam Express 4-3 Saturday.
Prince George jumped out to a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes thanks to a power-play goal from Adam Brubacher followed by an even-strength marker from Campbell.
Corey Hoffman would make it 3-0 for the visitors after 40 minutes on the man advantage.
The Express would get on the board in the third thanks to Owen Stout’s 10th of the season to cut the deficit to 3-1.
Campbell would pot his second of the game on the power-play after taking a feed from Cavin Tilsley.
Blake Hayward and Taylor Green would score late for Coquitlam.
Joseph McLeod picked up his first BCHL victory making 23 saves.
The Spruce Kings play today (Sunday) in Chilliwack.
