Cascades sweep and split against T-Wolves.

The Fraser Valley Cascades rebounded on home court defeating the UNBC Lady T-Wolves in women’s basketball 83-56 last night (Sat).

Vasiliki Louka led UNBC in points with 17 while Maria Mongomo added 16.

The Cascades were led by Kayli Sartori was the leading point getter from UFV with 24 points including a 12 for 13 performance from the free-throw line.

UNBC drops to 2-10 while the Cascades improve to 7-5.

The offensive struggles continued for the UNBC men’s basketball team last night (Sat) losing 62-47 to UFV.

Austin Chandler scored 10 points in a losing cause for the T-Wolves.

Nate Brown and Kevon Parchment both had a team-high 16 points for the Cascades.

UNBC drops to 3-9 while UFV improves to 8-4.

Both UNBC basketball teams are back in action next Friday and Saturday when they host the UBCO Heat from the Northern Sports Centre.
