Prince George enjoyed another warm month according to Environment Canada.
Meteorologist, David Jones says they saw a significant difference temperature-wise.
“In the Central Interior of Prince George, the mean temperature for the month was five degrees above the average. So when you are talking about a month that has 29 days it’s a very significant departure on the warm side.”
Jones adds while snowfall is way down the precipitation numbers remain the same due to an increase in rain and melted snow.
The El Nino is expected to hit it’s strongest point at the end of winter and well into spring.
