PG Cougars ready to get their country on

Polish off your cowboy hat and spurs because Saturday is Country Night at CN Centre.

It’s being hosted by Country 97FM and Hell Yeah Prince George.

Manager of Broadcasting, Dan O’Connor says fans should waste no time in buying a ticket to the feature game.

“Come by and get your tickets early so you don’t have to stand in line plus we would love to sell the place out and get it back to what the glory days were like.”

O’Connor adds the team would love nothing more than a packed house. “We are darn excited about the possibility and I think Prince George has shown over the past two years they are ready to get behind this team.”

The game will also feature a record-breaking 50-50 draw.

Puck drop is slated for 7 pm and is all part of a major hockey weekend in the city with the Northern Capitals and Cariboo Cougars hosting playoff games earlier in the day at 3:15 and 3:45 from Kin 1 and 2.
