Firearms arrests made in connection to Williams Lake homicide

Arrests have been made in connection to the this week’s homicide in Williams Lake, although no murder charges are expected quite yet.

Police were called to a Williams Lake home for a shots fired call Wednesday night.

North District Media Relations, Corporal Dave Tyreman says they now have 3 suspects in custody; two men aged 21 and 27 and a 23 year old woman.

“This relates back to the original disturbance that happened in the residence when we first got the call that somebody thought maybe gunshots were heard inside that residence.”

Around the same time a 20 year old man turned up at hospital suffering from gunshot wounds which he eventually succumbed to.

The three suspects have charges pending of discharging a firearm with intent to injure and reckless discharging of a firearm.

The two men are set to appear in court April 14th, while the woman is on the 4th.
