Another member of the Prince George Cougars will see time in the American Hockey League.
Jesse Gabrielle has signed an Amateur Tryout Contract with the Providence Bruins which is the AHL affiliate of the Boston Bruins.
Gabrielle was drafted by the Bruins last summer in the 4th Round 103rd overall and was acquired by the Cougars from the Regina Pats for Lane Zablocki.
He finished second in the WHL with 7 shorthanded goals and was the youngest Cougar ever to reach the 40-goal mark in franchise history.
Gabrielle joins Chase Witala and Jansen Harkins who have also inked ATO’s with the Toronto Marlies and Manitoba Moose.
