Climb for Cancer raises $25,000 for Kordyban Lodge

Over 200 people climbed the Prince George Cutbanks for a good cause during the inaugural Climb for Cancer fundraiser on Saturday.

The community support for the first year event blew away Doug Bell with the Northern Lights Estate Winery.

“This is just another opportunity for people in Prince George showed how giving and selfless they are. People don’t really think of themselves as an individual, they think of themselves as a community.”

$25,000 was raised in support of the Kordyban Lodge.

It was run in conjunction with the Northern Lights Estate Winery, Canadian Cancer Society and Vista Radio.
