Jeans Day Fundraiser set for Thursday

The B.C Children’s Hospital Foundation is asking you to dust off your Canadian Tuxedo on Thursday during its Jeans Day Fundraiser.

The Fundraiser has been going for over a quarter-century and has some Prince George ties according to Spokesperson, Rebecca Peters. “Jeans Day has been going on since 1990 with this being our 26th year and we have raised 19 million dollars for B.C Children’s Hospital and in fact 717 patients a year from the Prince George area come for a visit.”

Through the sales of $5 buttons and $20 lapel pins, the foundation aims to raise $1,000,000 to assist sick and injured children.

You can purchase a button or pin at Save On Foods, Costco or London Drugs.
