Prince George cops respond to incidents

RCMP in Prince George were kept busy Wednesday night.

At approximately 6:20 pm, police responded to a call at the intersection of 15th Avenue and Spruce Street involving two women aged 27 and 41.

An argument took place with one of them pulling a knife and was later classified as assault with a weapon.

The 27-year old female was arrested and will appear in provincial court on Thursday.

Police then responded to an incident just before 9 pm when two men aged 29 and 32 were arrested from their home on Norwood Street after a 43-year old male from the lower mainland was bear-sprayed and then had his wallet stolen.

The incident has been deemed an armed robbery and both men will appear in court on Thursday.
